Default swampjeep's current fleet updated 10/8/13

current vehicles:

UPDATED Aug 5, 2014

DD and trail ride vehicle:

2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JKU) Sport
bought with: AEV bumpers, 2.5 Mopar BB, 315/70-17 (35") BFG AT's, 3.23 gears

changed tires to 255/75-17's until I can upgrade the gears, the 35's where killing the power and gas milage, was not fun to drive like that

upgrades:
- added a Kenwood dnx6190HD to get built in Garmin GPS, DVD player (wired to the back seat for Carolyn) and a back up camera (rear view is not that great).
- 4.10 gears have been purchased, need carriers, INSTALLED
- put the BFG's back on, drove 2 weeks including 1 trip to the dunes, power was fine but liked the 255's better, more because of DD and driving on the road, switched back to stock 255's

more pics and info to come as this vehicle morph's

Attachment 2355

Dune vehicle:
1988 Chevy K5 Blazer
350 TBI, 700r4, NP208, 10 bolt frt/rr
33/12.50-15 BFG AT's
body is pretty rust free
see Swampjeep's Dune Vehicle for more info and pics

Tow rig:
2001 GMC 2500HD Sierra, crew cab 4x4, 8.1L Allison Trans
Attachment 2356

as I'm now a Dad, and spending more time with wife and daughter, I've decided this jeep is going to get more use as a DD and 2-tracker.

Lift will be dropped to about 3-4" (combination of 2.5" springs and 1" body)
changing tires to BFT all terains 33x12.5

swaping trans to a AW4 auto

hopfully this will be done by thanksgiving 2012

255/75/17 = 32.1 "

315/70/17 = 34.4

35/12.50/17 = 34.8
