Default How did you do that drive every day Tippy???

Man, I've only done it two days now and looking at a few more, but damn. How you did the drive from Saginaw to down here every day beats me. You are a better man than I am to handle that.

Sunday was a cold, extremely windy ride. Today snow, tomorrow they are saying snow.
Harley is getting a workout this week for sure.

I used to know a lot of people that did that. When I worked for Walbro here in Auburn Hills, all the guys in our shop were ex-GM. They drove from Saginaw, Bay City, Bridgeport, Birth Run, etc. Of course, the nice thing was we did fuel testing, so we always had leftover fuel from tests that we put into our tanks.

Most of the time it sucks but you get into the groove after a while, 3 hrs a day just to commute to and from work, been doing it since 2003.

I always wished GM would give me test cars to drive the crap out of, I put about 50,000 miles a year on a car just for work. About $4000 a year in gas.

RJ give me a call if you get a chance, I'll come visit.

Tippy, I'll give you a call in a bit, just got up here and he is sleeping right now.

Immortal, I hear you on the nodding off, but hard to do on the bike in 33 degree weather.

Reminds me of last summer.. 1 or 2 times a day to St Joes for 6 weeks to visit Jamie. I could have done that drive in my sleep and knew every inch of that place..

Gotcha. Didn't realize you only had the truck and the Jeep.

Still have the 2500HD but wife drives that for work.
Old pickup is in storage for the winter, haven't had time to go get it. Jamie drives the Tahoe and works everyday, so that leaves me two choices.

Not a bad ride, just tired of the cold.
