Its usually a liquid that you slosh around and it hardens. As long as there's no soap bubbles, its probably not necessary.

Yep once you get the tank flushed out and dried out you pour this stuff in and slowly roll the tank around so it coats the inside then pour out the extra . Takes another 24 hours for it to dry .

that's pretty much what I figured, I just wasn't sure if it was a special gas tank liner, or more genaric resin of some type, or even epozy type paint/coating

I know some companies like Eastwood sell it DIY. I had my Toyota tank blasted and coated inside and out by one of the places that does the gas tank renu setup. Worked well, the previous tank rusted out and got water in the fuel, the 2nd one was very rusty inside, but they cleaned it up great...

New tank is finsihed , took it for the 1st test run today . TO bad i made it 1/2 a mile . New coil died . stuck the old coil in after towing it home and it started up .

Does seem peppy with the 5:38 gears and dauntless

Gaining ground here and there . Got some of the wiring sorted out . Bright and dim headlights are working , dash lights and he he dome light on the dash . Few more hours in the evenings wiring should be good enough for the color tour in kazoo .

The miserable coil issue was solved , china coil and my condensor were not playing well together .

Windshield frame has been repaired . most of the glass work is done . had to fill in the old gas filler hole . now deal with the tail light holes from the old lights . Wont take long to sand and prep for paint once i get to that part .
